Eileen began her
career as a cadet nurse in 1957 and has worked in the
nursing/care field in a variety of ways.
Eileen has
gained much experience in many areas including theatre and
ward sister, community nursing as a health visitor and of
course proprietor of many care homes |

Mrs Louise Newton
Registered Manager
Having had many
years working in the care field for all ages and abilities,
Louise began working in care for the elderly in 1998. Louise
has current certificates in First Aid at Work, Principles of
Manual Handling, Community Care Course, Medical Gases
Course, AED course, Gastro Feeding Course.

Eileen believes
there is no compromise with care and strives to ensure that
everyone receives care that is a standard of excellence. She
also believes that through training and personal
development her staff will have the knowledge and confidence
to provide an excellent standard of care to all her
residents.
Eileen purchased
Highcliffe in 2003 and has made many improvements in the
home and its grounds. She has invested heavily in staff
training and development.

Residential Home employs senior care staff, care staff, a
cook, a domestic, a laundry person and a caretaker.
All staff complete induction training, which is inclusive of
moving and handling, first aid awareness and various other
courses, and senior staff have completed Leadership course.
Staff are
encouraged to train for NVQ levels two and three.
All staff
training needs are constantly monitored and reviewed. Highcliffe is
dedicated to ensuring staff receive the training required to
provide all residents with a level of care that is a
standard of excellence.

She has just successfully
completed her
First-Line Management Award and has completed
her A1 Assessors Award. Safe Administration and storing of medication, Food Hygiene
and other related awards.
Louise is the
key mover for Highcliffe Residential Home, ensuring that all
staff are trained in safe moving and handling. Louise has
her NVQ training to Registered Manager award level 4. She
also has a certificate in risk assessing and she uses her
skills to risk assess at Highcliffe.
Louise is
responsible for ensuring that all staff receive training in
all areas of care and ensures that all staff follow current
policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
She monitors staff to ensure they are working within the
limits of their training by supervisions and approvals.

Mrs Patricia Eskdale
Financial Administrator
Following her
retirement as Registered Manager in 2008, Pat continues to
be employed at Highcliffe as Financial Administrator. Pat
monitors all financial aspects of the home. This includes
liaising with the accountants, Social services, Utilities,
Service users and family members.Patricia has experience in
this field and has sound knowledge of the requirements of
the financial issues of the home.
